Multiple passengers and crew have been injured when a Delta Airlines jet originating in LA to Sydney encountered rough air Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it made its approach and landed at the Sydney airport, an airline spokesperson stated. Four flight attendants were injured.
The New South Wales Ambulance Service reported they evaluated five individuals, and transferred three of them to a medical facility with relatively minor issues that such as pain in the back and head pain. Those affected ranged from their 30s up to the 70s.
